WHO | Brother Dusty

A rock n roll artist combining a spectrum of hip hop & jazz grooves, blues & folk tunes and a funky, punk style, Brother Dusty's raw energy, rebellious lyrics, and dynamic stage presence have captivated audiences across the digital world. His arsenal carries not just vocals - but bass, drums, percussion, guitar and even some banjo.

Dusty emerged from Kokomo, Indiana down to Nashville, Tennessee into the local scene and quickly gained recognition for his unique blend of rock and rap. His early work freelancing in over 40 bands garnered local praise before leading to a stream-lined solo career diving fully into a more unique and powerful sound. A full range of style and skills is displayed on his first single, 'woah' (January 2025)

Not just a musician, Brother Dusty is a former high school music teacher raised in a family of Baptist preachers before going mad and leaving his old life behind to embrace the rock n roll lifestyle. Now a titan of his local industry, he has worked as a booking agent, music video director, content creator, music journalist and executive producer to play a huge role in building and expanding the Nashville scene before finally launching his own solo career with a gang of circus-freak bandmates.

BROTHER DUSTY brings with him a gang of eclectic bandmates prepared with an arsenal of guitars, drums & percussion, banjo and brass. Sets include crossover, genre-bending hitters as well as twists on a variety of styles. You’ll hear blues and folk, then get hit with a spin on jazz, next thing you know you’re dancing to funk and hiphop but once you think you’ve got the show figured out, the band gets heavy and rocks your face off. There is no box that can contain the sounds of Brother Dusty- you’ll hear him sing, rap and watch him move from guitar to upright bass, banjo, slap the electric bass, drum set, marching snare and hand percussion.

-For shorter sets, Brother Dusty’s band can adapt like a camp of chameleons to fit any show. They play with rock bands, bluegrass/folk jams, jazz nights, acoustic songwriter showcases, and even fit right into the hiphop community. Each set is catered and condensed into whatever fits the vibe.

-For longer sets, you get it all; a full journey of every style with a constantly evolving band/instrument roster. You hire one band and get your own musical circus with a ringleader presenting a multi-talented freak show.
