RUBY MOON

My name is Ruby Moon My face is covered in blood and my shine comes in phases

I sit high upon my crimson throne Ruling over the stars Floating through the night

I am but a light in the darkness I have seen the other side and that is where I’m going… simply to remind you that sun is coming.

And for this message I’ll be punished, banished to my death by the morning.

THE SECRET CLUB

Take these words and eat them,

Let their seed produce a fruit.

Mind the here and know the now

And listen straight from life itself:

I am the one thing

we all have in common.

I am the voice within us all.

I have the weaved the web

in which we all

have wondered through.

And as I walk the road

I see the way I am to you.

I have traded ‘way my soul

and all my light up to the cross

to cast myself in darkness

and Shephard the souls of lost.

There is not a place for me

to ever truly lie my head

and so I know I only speak

through vessels soon that will be dead.

After this I rest in peace,

Knowing comfort in my end

Now that I have seen this place

I seem to have made some friends.

Allies formed beyond the grave

Wishing for the chance to resurrect.

There is life on over there

More abundant if you can connect.

Dig your grave,

destroy your self

More of Him and

less of “me”

This will show the sight to see.

As I walk the other side

I can view the great divide

And so

I must make these next words

A bridge:

Look within and you shall find

Burning in a great white light

And so you either let it take you

Or it will eat you alive.

Once it has consumed you fully

You shall finally see the truth

And so your eyes will then be open

And the Lord will come to you.

Welcome to the secret club

WITCHING HOUR

Who can sleep when spirits break in dancing round the room

Whether we can hear the sounds or simply sense commotion in our heads

Some of us can slumber every night without sensations that resist it

All the rest of us are ticking wake with restless minds that won’t slow down

I for one have taken likeness to the rule of thumb we never swallow

I adopt the rhythm and I howl inside my own nocturnal mind

Yes I know I’ll sleep all through the morning and I’ll sacrifice the day

Least I know that magic flows

through my entire vessel

in the witching hour

EMPYREAN

I have seen the great beyond,

Burned in the empyrean.

Some have said it is below,

I have found it is above.

Some will tell you

these two are the same.

You may either find yourself

so high, you go to hell

or you could find yourself so low

that heaven shows itself.

If these fires you will swim

And the truth consumes you

You will see…

that it all comes back around.

Welcome to the circle of life.

VICIOUS CIRCLE

Don’t you know that “what has been
is what will always be?”

Everybody wants to try and
change the course of history

“That which has been done
is always that which will be done…”

The king himself has told us
“there is nothing new under the sun”

-

Peace always remains at rest
while war is always fighting more
And once the peace retaliates
it then becomes the side of war
How can we defend ourselves
when all we want is peace?
And war is at our doorstep
while it’s soldiers never cease

Jungle beasts have always been
the kings over the flock
And wolves have always eaten sheep
while Shephard’s only watch
Shephard’s always sit in peace
while wolves break in to feast
And God forbid the Shephard fight
for he’d become the beast

Do you think that we could ever
see a day that comes to pass
Where a Shephard might reveal
his teeth to try and fight the past?
I have heard that God will send this
fighting Shephard called his son
And then the flock will kill their Shephard,
thus the war is never won

Foolish sheep refuse to fight the wolves
but quickly eat their saints
See the vicious circle come around
for wolves to clean their plates
I am forced to let this circle’s truth
become a part of me
Don’t you know that “what has been
is what will always be?”
(Ecclesiastes 1:9)
